This is one of the regular meetings for the Enfield VCS Cost of Living Network. For community and voluntary groups whose members or service users may be struggling with the rising cost of living.

Finance: Understanding annual accounts

This training session is for anyone who has to assemble year-end financial information for a charity or other voluntary organisation that has to follow charity accounting rules. 

It will be especially useful for staff or volunteer finance workers or treasurers. This course is good for beginners – you will not be expected to have much previous knowledge in this area.

Workshop: Getting your organisation started with the right legal structures

Are you starting up a new community or voluntary group? It’s important to get the right legal structures in place – and there are lots of different options, including becoming a registered charity, a community interest company or charitable incorporated organisation. 

This workshop will guide you through the different options, so you can find the best fit for your group, and help you get established, with the right governance arrangements in place.
