Tuesday 13 May 2025 | 9.45am to 2pm – including lunch (provided) | Community House, 311 Fore Street, London N9 0PZ
This conference offers a chance to hear important updates from major funders, the National Lottery Community Fund and Trust for London.
Sophie Mathias will introduce the Community Fund’s new funding streams, while Susie Dye will discuss Trust for London’s work to tackle the emergency in temporary accommodation (a form of hidden homelessness) and seek the views of Enfield organisations. There will also be speakers from local service providers.
Confirmed speakers include:
- National Lottery Community Fund – Sophie Mathias
- Trust for London – Susie Dye
- Stand Together Network – Sue Halawa
- Citizens Advice Enfield – Hilary Meeks
- Enfield Community Hubs – Lutfa Kuddus
We will also include a brief presentation on the Meridian Water Community Chest Fund to help Enfield groups that might be considering applying.
The conference is an opportunity for any Enfield community or voluntary group whose members or clients might be facing cost of living pressures or the threat of homelessness to find out more about the funding, resources and services that are available.
And it’s a great chance to catch up in person and network with other local organisations.
A vegetarian lunch will be provided, and there will lots of time to discuss local housing and cost of living issues.
