EVA’s Cost of Living and Homelessness Network continues its regular programme of meetings and specialist training. We will have three guest speakers:
- Chris Farrell, head of homeless assessments at Enfield Council’s housing advisory service, will explain the council’s new five-year housing strategy in the context of national and local developments.
- Marie Stewart, strategic lead for London at national charity Homeless Link, will outline the organisation’s work and the free housing and homelessness-related training opportunities provided by the London Plus programme, which is delivered in partnership with Shelter.
- Enfield Temporary Accommodation Forum – a collective of Enfield community groups campaigning together to improve the lives of thousands of local people who live in temporary housing. This will be a chance to learn about the new forum, which is funded by Trust for London, and its work so far.
