EVA’s Cost of Living and Homelessness Network continues its regular programme of meetings and specialist training. This month’s guest speakers will be:
Lucretia Thomas, early intervention manager from Enfield Council’s housing and regeneration team, will provide an update on homelessness in Enfield and practical steps community groups can take to prevent homelessness and to help residents get access to homelessness support.
Ellie Crawford, from Mind in Enfield and Barnet, will give an overview of local mental health services and how they can support people who are facing mental health challenges stemming from housing vulnerability and cost of living pressures.
Farheen Ambia will present the research behind Enfield Healthwatch’s recent report exploring the challenges homeless people face when registering with a GP, and share recommendations to make homeless healthcare fairer and more accessible.
