ADDITIONAL SPEAKER Alex Hodson from HEET will provide an overview of the free energy efficiency services and advice the organisation provides, which local residents can access to save money on fuel bills and stay warm in winter.
Will Lim from food coop network Cooperation Town will explain how the organisation can help local residents who would like to start a food co-op – a buying group to provide members with affordable groceries, sourced in bulk and distributed at a very low price. Food coops are very different to foodbanks – this is a chance to find out more.
Dr Chen Gutu of Enfield GP partnership Medicus will talk about the Medicus outreach service for homeless people and people in temporary accommodation, which provides priority GP services and medical support for patients who otherwise struggle to register and engage with the NHS.
