Guest speaker Evelyn Rodrigues, training and best practice manager at Volunteer Centre Tower Hamlets, will explore the key moments in a volunteer’s journey when they may be at risk of leaving and look at practical approaches for tackling these issues early.
The session will also examine how to ensure induction, training and supervision processes support volunteer retention, and how to develop meaningful progression routes for your volunteers.
We will also consider how to set clear and realistic expectations for both volunteers and staff, and reward and recognition ideas that help volunteers feel valued.
