Recruiting the right volunteers

Wednesday 4 February 2026 | 10am to 12.30pm | Online

This practical training session, with Evelyn Rodrigues, training and best practice manager at Volunteer Centre Tower Hamlets, explores the best ways to recruit the volunteers you need. We will look at what motivates people to volunteer and how you can present your roles to make them more appealing.

You will also learn how to remove the barriers that might prevent people from getting involved and how to provide meaningful development opportunities. The training will also explore how to advertise your volunteer roles so you can reach the right people more effectively.

About your attendance confirmation

It is very important that you let us know if you can’t attend a training course or event, or if you are going to be late (so we know that you are coming).

Please let us know by phoning 020 8373 6268 (leave a message) or email us on admin@enfieldva.org.uk

This is because we often have a waiting list of people from other local community groups who would like to attend.

If you don’t turn up on the day – and have not let us know so we can give your place to someone else – you will be depriving another Enfield community group of an important education or networking opportunity. Please help others in the voluntary sector by letting us know if you can’t take up your place.
