Enfield VCS Mental Health Network

Enfield VCS Mental Health Network is for grassroots organisations in the voluntary sector that would like to build their skills, capacity and contacts in the area of mental health.

You don’t have to be a mental health organisation to join. We know that many community groups are doing amazing work to improve people’s mental health and wellbeing.

Your voluntary or community group can become a member if it:

  • believes its work has a positive impact on mental health locally
  • actively delivers projects in Enfield
  • either provides 80% of its services to Enfield’s residents or is a national organisation.

Launch success

30 people attended the first ever Enfield VCS Mental Health Network meeting, which took place on 29 April 2022. This energetic session was a chance for groups to get a feel for the new network, its aims, and what it can offer its members.

The event also provided a springboard for good quality networking among groups interested in promoting mental health and wellbeing in the borough, and we thank everybody who attended for their valuable input.

We are looking into the possibility of an informal networking session in Jubilee Park towards the end of May, to connect up with each other in person, in a nice setting.  Please contact the network’s facilitator, Chris, if you are interested in finding out more.

Membership of the Mental Health Network is free.
