Content | A dynamic, high quality presentation from ECP (Education Child Protection) will provide an up-to-date insight into games and apps that children and young people are using today. It will focus on the relevant challenges the internet poses towards children and young people i.e. sharing, chatting, playing and ‘friendships’. Areas of focus include
- Content: Being exposed to illegal, inappropriate or harmful material
- Contact: Being subjected to harmful online interaction with other users
- Conduct: Personal online behaviour that increases the likelihood of harm
- Commerce: Gambling and purchasing behaviours, such as loot boxes
Online Safety Network
This workshop will take place at the start of the 1st Online Safety Network meeting. There will be time for questions and the Network will also discuss funding options, project planning and action planning for future Network meetings. The meeting will close at 12 noon.
You do not have to stay for the whole meeting, but your participation and input would be welcomed. You will find out more about the Online Safety Network and plans for Community Champions for Online Safety.
